- There is an old castle in Dunmore it was built by Hosty a welsh chieftain. Hosty had great trouble in building this castle because all he built by day was knocked by night. Hosty went to a druid and asked his advice. The druid told him that Moire daughter of Manannan Mac Lir wished him to build his castle on her own fort. Hosty did so and it was never knocked after that.
The walls of that castle are still to be seen.(continues on next page)- Collector
