- Clothes made LocallyIn the year 1903, my father and a man named Pat Flannery were travelled from a place called Warrington to Earlstown in England. They had to cross a very large railway crossing. When they were in the centre of it, an engine came up at full speed, and caught Pat Flannery in the leg. His leg was one side of the rail and himself was the other side. So my father had a hard night to bring Pat Flannery to a doctor. He had to carry him a mile or so to a doctor.
