    die. She was heart broken at this. Each night she would not go to bed, and watched her husband for fear he might die. One night, she sat beside the fire and said, "How well I would not be taken instead of my husband". Just after saying those words, she heard a noise. What came in the door but a big plucked turkey? She thought that there was an evil spirit going to take her away, instead of her husband. Her courage failed, and she said "He is in there; go in for him". It was the neighbours that did this. After all she did not like to go.
