    the Geraldine's castles.
    He was best known in Kildare. His work can be seen standing against the storms for many years.
    His most remarkable work was the crooked spire in Chesterfield in England. From any point you would look at this spire you would think that it was about to fall. It can be seen to this day.
    At the time he was hired to do the work, the people of the place had their minds made up to kill him at the completion of the work. Gobán got some idea of this plan, and slowed the work up.
