    There are not many crosses or standing stones in this district. There are two or three of which I heard.
    There is a stone with an ornamented design on it in the wall of our out-house. The design is like a crow's foot. I never heard any local tradition connected with this stone.
    There is a wood between Fairfield and Northbrook; and behind this wood, there are
