    hucksters, pedlars and dealers in feathers and rags who visited the district in former times. They do not still come. The hucksters were those who went about in "travelling shops". Pedlars went about on foot, caravans and bicycles, selling clothes and many other things.
    Other men called "tea-men" went about selling tea for a firm.
