  2. In the year 1924 there was a great storm which did much harm locally. It knocked hay and corn, and swept the roofs off houses.
    It also knocked trees across the Snnis-Galway road at Coole so that no Traffic could pass, and the Buses had to travel by the Ballyaneen road.
