    when the fire occurred on a fine Sunday afternoon in the month of August. It was said that it was from a lighted cigarette a curtain took fire and that the burning occurred. The windows were open and it was said that the breeze blew the curtains which made them take fire quicker and then the boards caught fire. It was a two storey thatched house and was easily burned.
