- Ireland was noted for its many interesting and historical places. On visiting or reading about those places one can get all the knowledge one wants to get. Among those historical places we find holy wells which were named after some of the Saints who lived in Ireland long ago.
About three miles and a half from Kinvara there is a well situated in a field beside Corker hill. It is called St. Patrick's well and the way it got its name was.
