- Travelling in Ireland a century ago was not such an easy matter as it is at present. In those times there were no trains, no motors, no buses and people found it difficult to travel any considerable distance. About that time a young Italian names Brianconi started a service of cars which linked up a great many places in Ireland and which proved very useful and popular. The people were travelling by horse back and walking, stage coach and mail coach. But, nowadays we have the train which takes the place of a mail coach, motor bycicles which take the place of a horse back. Push bycicles which take the place of a foot-(continues on next page)
