    water. An old man lived near by and told the people to light a match and throw it into the well and that person would bring as much water as he wished and the next person do as he did.
    The people bought a dwelling there. It was called Newtown because it was a new piece of land. It now consists of nine houses and a few [ ] and the people gave it the name of Newtown. There is another place called Poll an {?} it is a flood of water in which little fish and eels dwell. There is another place called cnoc Dub because it is a high hill with black stones.
