    1. Nuair a bhíonn duine ag dul chuig socraid cuireann sé gráinne salainn 'na bhéal, gráinne san dteinidh agus gráinne 'na phoca, ionnus nach mbainfeadh 'na daoinní maithe' leo.
    2. Cuirtear salann san gcaca (císte) agus ceaptar nach bhféadfadh na daoinní maithe aon chuid de a ithe annsin.
    3. Cuirtear teine fé'n gcuinneoig.
    4. Duine ar bith a thagann isteach ní mór dó a lámh a chur uirthí (cuinneog) .i. cabhradh leis an obair.
