    back door to cool. She left them down at the fire again and she meant the man to go home but she was ashamed to tell him to go home. He knew that too but he would not go to spite her. When he saw her leaving the potatoes down he said to her "Muise Muire we can all eat a few. It was about nine o'clock then he turned in to eat the potatoes with them. They had buttermilk and salt with the potatoes. He did not go home until twelve o'clock.
    Story
    There was a woman once and she was living with herself and she was very poor and she had a lot of debts to pay. She had everything sold and there was a statue left on the mantlepiece and it was very big and it belonged to her people who lived nearly a hundred years before that the statue was made of gold. She was selling the statue for twenty pounds but she did not like to sell it. One night a man came looking for lodging she gave it to him. Before he went to bed he saw the statue
