    and as the people passed by the pairies kept on dancing and playing. One night as Hugh Clancy, Gurteendarragh, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim was attending a sick beast in a lyre near the fort he saw several men digging with spades in the field. When it cleared next morning Hugh Clancy went out to his own field to see what the crowd of men had done but instead of it being dug up there was not a sad turned.
