    lasted about three years. The flax was grown in the district and some of the home made towels, sheets and tablecloths are still to be had here. When a woman was getting married a cape with a hood was on it to cover the head was brought and that did them while they lived. It cost about 5 and it was known as the "Irish Cailig Cloak"
