    Ill be far on sea
    Now once my boys I say goodby to friends and comrades gay
    In hopes through time to meet again though gladly would I stay
    To tread the dear old scenes again that must for ever reign
    Supreme in every Irish heart far from their native plain
    When I return home again old joys we will renew
    We will dance and sing the live long day round Melvins waters blue.
