Another time Micky was standing in the door of a public house when Tottenham and her ladyship went past in their coach "Wait your honour" shouted Mickey running after him. "What's the matter with you , Micky" said Tottenham. "I had a dream last night" said Micky "and I dreamt that her ladyship gave me half-a -crown and your honour gave me five shillings as a present". "Oh! that couldn't be" said Tottenham. "Ah' well, maybe it was you only gave me the half crown and her ladyship five siblings said MickyFourth Story
The R.I.C [Royal Irish Constabulary] Sergeant who was in Glenfarne in Micky's time was very strict particularly about unlicensed dogs. One day he met Micky Walls "Do you know anyone, who has dogs that are not licensed". asked the Sergeant. "I do" said Micky. "I know a man, who has two dogs and neither of them licensed" "Has he them long"? asked the sergeant. "He has them as long as I can remember. He had them when I came here first". "Will you lead me to him for half a crown"? "I will, if you give me a pair of pants too. These I have are nearly worn" "Alright" said the Sergeant and he went away and came back with a good second-hand pair of pants. Micky put them on and went off to show the Sergeant, where the mom with the dogs lived. He led him to the man, who had to use two tools called "dogs".
