  1. How the robin got its red breast is as follows: When the soldiers were following Our Lord they knew where He went because there were drops of blood on the path. The robin knew this and it did not want Our Lord to be captured. It went before the soldiers rubbing its breast on the drops of blood so that the soldiers could not find Our Lord. That is how the robin got a red breast. Some people say that it is not right to do any harm to a robin.
