    For a Cough.
    Water cress pounded and mixed with liquorous ball and a little whiskey to preserve it.
    For Consumption.
    Roots of dandelion boiled, and strained, and drunk is good for consumptives.
    For a choking in chest boil mountain sage and take like tea.
    Jaundice.
    Tamarack, bitter apple, 1/4 oz jallop hair of pike, mixed in 1/2 pt of water. Take 1/2 glass night and morning. Cause vomiting - yellow stuff[?] center like a marble.
    For burns and Cuts.
    Wild hyacinth, slánlus[ribwort?], Primrose roots, daisy house leek - Leaves and roots of foregoing washed and pounded and boiled and strained and then mixed with lard.
