Well it's egg shells Awomy, says she. With that up jumps the playboy again an him giglin fit to split his sides, an' says he, "I'm above a thousand years in the world, an' I never seen egg-shells brewed before." By this time the poker was mad red an' without more ado Moll seized it an' made for the cradle an' crammed it into the open mouth of the thing that was grinnin' at her. It let one screech that the like of it never was heard an' poor Moll fell down in a dead faint. When she came to her senses again the first thing she saw was the poker stannin' in a tub of cold water at the other end of the kitchen' an' when she took courage to look
