- The young people assemble at crossroads on Sundays and play games and sometimes dance. There is a large stone in the centre of Aughalocky black-road under which it is said a Priest's head is buried and this stone is always damp. Across the strem from that stone is a well which the people call the Holy Well. Mass was said there in the Penal days. It is said locally that the Priest's head which is buried in the road was shot off while saying Mass. There is a nice Mass path from our house to Creevelea Chapel.
