- An aged priest (name unknown) was visiting the parish of Murhaun about Christmas. He came across Slieve-an-Iarainn mountain riding a horse, and in coming the old road through Curlough, he saw the local troop of Yeomen coming in his direction from their barrack in Blackrock(continues on next page)
