    If butter is rubbed to a sore throat it is a cure for it.
    If a sprain is washed by bog water it will cure it.
    Another cure for the whooping cough is to go out three times under a foals legs.
    A cure for a cold is to boil garlic and drink the juice of it.
    If a person had a pain in his head and if he put a bit of unsalted butter on the top of his head it would stop the pain.
    Another one is to wet a cloth in hot water and tie it around the head it would stop the pain.
    There is a cure for the measles if the person drinks whiskey the spots will come out on him.
    If a person had a sore mouth and if he washed it in salt and water it would get better.
    Another cure was to eat bread and milk boiled with ginger on it
    There was a cure for a sore throat that is that person rubbed caster oil or iodine on it it would get better.
