  2. One night a man by the name of Dan Connor from Greenville Listowel was passing the forge-field in Greenville and a hurling match was going on inside. He went in and one of them hit him on the back with his hurley. He came out of the field again and he was hardly able to walk home. For a long time after that he was not able to go out of bed with a pain in his back.
