He thought it was not gold but he brought it home and left it near the fire to dry. A tinker came in to sell a few saucepans. When he saw the gold, he asked one bar for a saucepan and Patrick King agreed to give it.

Connor Mac Gann was coming home from school one evening. When he jumped over the wall he saw two basins of gold and he ran home to tell his father. When they returned they could not get it.
