- In 1920, a cattle drive took place from Caltra. The cattle were driven as far as Monivea. One crowd drove them a few miles where they were met by another crowd who drove them until they met another crowd.
- There used to be faction fights in Clough nearly every week about thirty- five or thirty years ago. There used to be cattle drives on Clough farm and some people were put to jail on account of them.
