    Nearly all men's and children's socks are hand knit. The wool is mostly bought in the shop, but a few woman spin their own wool. There is just the one spinning wheel in this district.
    At Weddings people wear clothes of a fine texture. The Bride usually wear silk and the Bridegroom wears serge.
    It is the custom to wear black face cloth for mourning.
    A tailor + dressmaker usually require glasses for their eyes become weak from constantly looking at the cloth and from working with lamp light.
