    I must leave thee for a while
    Now bestow on me a blessing
    And a fond approving smile,

    So good-night once more my Jesus,
    Grant no matter where I be,
    All my nights dreamings
    Be of Thee and only Thee
    Jesus Christ, King of the Jews
    Save me from a sudden and
    unprovided death.
    The following prayer is said
    when going to bed.
    "Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
    Guard the bed that I lay on.
    There are four corners on my bed
    There are four angels around my head
    One to watch, and one to pray
