- Lower Ballagh Treasure:
During the trouble a man named OHara was hanged on Gallows Hill and it is believed that he told those around him of treasures which he had hidden in Lower Ballagh. The treasure was never found.
N.B. Lower Ballagh is near Hill-Street, Co Roscommon. Pot of Money well:-
