- There is a hidden hidden treasure east of O'Rourke's castle. It is said that O'Rourke, before he left the castle, dug a large hole in which he buried a trunk of gold and planted a large tree to mark the spot. On hearing this a man came from America to search for the gold but his search was in vain and it is said that the trunk of gold is still there.
