The property desended to the Whytes through Marriage. The Saint Georges and subsequently the Whytes appear to have been fairly considerate landlords as there is no tradition of Cruelty as in the case of other Leitrim Landlords, or evictions such as under Lord Seitrum, The Golterhams of Glenforna and the Morleys of Ballinagleera. The whytes appear to have been well thought of by the people and the present occupant of the tide was for many years elected by the people as their representative on the County Council.
No tithes appear to have been collected under this particular landlord.
