A great beach tree is also growing there. - On the night of the big wind there were hens belonging to a man named James Kelly on the roost. The roost was a bad one and the hens were blown over a half a mile from where they were until they were knocked down against the end of an old house.
- In the year one thousand nine hundred and one there was a great storm which killed a great number of cattle and horses. People also lost their lives.
