- (continued from previous page)was said that the man built the house on on the fairies' track. When a person is building a house he should turn four sods at the four corners of the house at night and if the sods are changed in the morning the person should not build his house on that spot.
- Fairies are to be seen in a field in the townland of Seralbagh. A man named John Ruttledge was passing through this field one night. When he came to the gap at the end of the field he found he was only at the gap where he started. He then saw a light at the other end of the field. He went towards it and when he arrived he was at another corner of the field. He turned his coat and then he got to the right got.
