    did not return.
The two men went home; and the poor Peter Pane was left all alone. The beautiful wife never returned. He did not live for many years himself after that as he was heartbroken, and there was no one living near him, and would never see anyone: and he did not know how to set back to his country; as no one ever know what happened to him why he cried; and he had no one to bury him.
