- (continued from previous page)are harmful also, but they only grow in good land and in gardens. The roots and seed of nettles spreads very much. Nettles boiled are good for young turkeys.Buchallains are very dirty weeds which grow on rocky land. No animals eat buchallains except sheep.
At certain times those buchallains
are covered with magets and insects. Scoutguns are big long sticks which grow in meadows.
They are not as harmful as the others.There are other herbs which are used for cures. Those are some of them, Slánlus, boglus, water-grass, dandelion and comfrey. Another herb known as gritbhthín grows on the thatch on houses. Gribhthín is boiled on sweet milk and sugar, taken three or four mornings(continues on next page)- Collector
