  1. (continued from previous page)
And when he took a look at Bob
He said to him "fear not this mob
    For I your cause rightify
At any cost were I to die
For why should I from duty swever
When one good turn deserves another"
So let me see the man who dare
With you this day to interfere
On on you cast, and angry frown
This day while in Drumkeerin town,
The horse he grabbled by the head
    And the invaders quickly fled,
And Ferguson went up and down
In triumph, bourne through the town
Gilheaney brought him home that night
To all his neighbours great delight
Where there, all comers were supplied
With flowing bowls on every side
They spent that night in mirth and cheer
    Until day light did appear
When Ferguson he did repeat -
Im glad I lived in "98"
I'm proud, Gilheaney did not did
So not I bid you all good bye"
