    No more, I will hear the blue cuckoo, to welcome back the Spring.
    No more I will plough those fertile hills, a cushla grádh mo chroidhe
    In foreign isle, I am doomed to toil, far, far from Glancalee

    Brave country boys around me stand. Our comrades kind and true
    And as I clasped each trembling hand to bid a fond adiu
    Said ", "My gallant country boys," I hope you will soon be free,
    And weave the green flag proudly o'er the hills of Glencalee.
