    help were heard even as far as Carrig island and Asdee fore shore.
    It is surmised that some of the men who had drink taken started to fight in the little boat. Other people stated that the boat was old and rotten and not capable of taking so many passengers. However this is only a conjecture and no one really knows what happened to that boat and its merry crew of 17 on that fateful evening 45 years ago.
