- Story - Lislaughtin AbbeyLong ago a man named Maurice Hennessy lived at the Abbey gate. He got up early every morning, but one morning he got up before the sun rose.He saw a procession of people going in over the steps at the gate. There was one little girl who was not able to go in. Maurice caught the child and put her on the steps. When the child got in, she went on her knees and thanked him. Then she vanished out of sight and the procession went to the Abbey.(continues on next page)
