  2. Three meals a day people used to eat long ago. The meals were Breakfast, Dinner and Supper. They were eaten at eight o'clock, twelve o'clock and six o'clock. The food consisted of potatoes two times a day and sometimes three times a day. When they had not potatoes they got a square of yellow bread and skimmed milk. People used to work in the morning before breakfast. The milk they used was separated milk. The tables were placed against the wall at meal time. The tables were not hung against the wall. In the olden times people nearly always ate yellow bread. It was made of meal, very little flour and hot water. Long ago people very seldom they
