Fairy Forts (continued)
“There are ten forts in the school district.”
(continued from previous page)forts in Tarmons and two in Dooncaha. The two Dooncaha forts are in view of each other. All the forts in this district are round in shape. There are seven forts fenced with earth and the other three with trees. There is an entrance hole in Fennel's fort. It is said that there is a stone with a ring on the top of it and below in the hole there is supposed to be money. One night a few boys tried to get the money, but they were hunted. There is a lot of stories told about the forts.- Transcription guide »You are not logged in, but you are welcome to contribute a transcription anonymously.
