them. They put the skins round them and went to the town. They walked up and down the streets. When people saw them they began to run. The guards saw the men and put them into jail.
When they came out they went home and resolved to kill Tim. One night Tim said to his mother that he was very cold in his bed. They swapped beds. Jack and Joe knew where Tim used to sleep. They hit him with a hammer. They thought they had him dead, but it was his mother. He went away and buired his mother.
They went to kill him again. They put him into a bag and went to drown him. While they were away a buyer came on with cattle. Tim was saying "This is the way to heaven". The buyer heard him, and asked him to let him into the bag and said he would give him the cattle. Tim did so and went home. Jack and Joe drowned the uyer instead of Tim.
