    Christmas night the fairies turn the water into wine.
    There is a story told about a man who stayed one Little Christmas night watching the fairies, to see if they would change the water into wine. He was from eleven o'clock until two o'clock watching and last he got a stroke of a football in the back. He ran to the room and did not listen to the fairies anymore.
    On Saint Martins night they kill something and put the blood into a box and put it (into) up on the rafters of the house. Saint Martin was killed in a mill. They say that any
