  1. (continued from previous page)
    sweet scented glade
    Where my love-tables I've told o'er and o'er
And my dearest one Nell of the whole world I'll tell
I loved her, I loved Laccamore.
    5.
When my spirit takes flight to the regions of light
And I've passed from the scenes I adore.
My children will be just delighted to see
Dad's birth place that's sweet Laccamore.
    6.
Take me back for I'm old and my life blood runs cold
To where sympathy springs from the core
To my dear Tír na nÓg sainted land of the brogue
And place me in sweet Laccamore
