    The police then went searching the houses all round,
    They thought to find rifles but none could be found,
    That very same night five innocent men,
    Were arrested at midnight by Murrahy and Fliann. .
    They were brought before Massie the very next day,
    And worse than that all he refused to give bail,
    At the station house office they were to remain,
    For more than five minutes to wait for the train,
    Their engine being puffing so powerful and free,
    Ready to start for the jail of Tralee.
