- (continued from previous page)shot. When the Castle was building the mortar was mixed with bullock's blood. There is a stone stairs on the inside. The hole in top was pierced by a cannon ball which knocked the eastern side almost to the ground. About ten years ago the chimney was knocked by lightning.

There is a field named the Garryharty. There is a hill named the Long Hill. There is a bridge named the Timber bridge. There is a field by Paddy Collins called the Six Acres field.
