caravans. Some of them travel in bands, others in families, and others travel singly.
The best known of them are the Moloneys and the Maughans. The families that visit my district most often are the Maughans and the Moloneys. They do not come at any special time. Often they come for the race-day or the fair-day.
They tell stories but people do not listen to them now-a-days as they have the newspaper. If they had a melodeon or a gramophone the boys on a Summer's evening would gather round them and dance round the camp fire.
