- The treasure is supposed to have been hidden in an under ground room in the corner of Patrick Tiernans field,, in the townland of Gileneaskey, in the Parish of Kilmacshalgan, and in the Co. Sligo.
It is supposed to have been placed there by the Danes hundred years ago. It is said that a man dreamt three nights in succession about this treasure.(continues on next page)
