- Young people make toys to amuse themselves.
When my Grand-father was young he made water guns out of elder branches. First he cut a straight branch then he took the heart out and left a small whole in the end of it.
Then he got a rod and put a piece of cloth round the end of it and put it in to the branch and by this way he made a water-gun.
He then pulled up the stick, put the gun into water which soaked it up, pushed the stick down again, and in this way the water shot out.
One can make a snare for catching fish out of horse hair by tying it to the end of a long rod.
One can also make a snare for catching rabbits out of fine wire by plaiting the wire and making a loop(continues on next page)- Collector
