    The gentleman told him he obtained him from one of his tenants.
    The military officer put his hand in his pocket and from a bunch of keys he took a small key which he handed to the landlord saying "See if that key will open the locket attached to the chain which is around the dogs neck." Sure enough it did, and in the locket was the name of the military officer.
